This blog relates to protesting the fact that there are numerous freeware multiplayer role playing games that are available for most computer users to download, but 98% of them are for PCs only (Microsoft windows operating system) and rarely do they have a download that is native for the Mac OS (Lepard 10.5)

I have put together two petitions to hopefully someday soon change that fact. I hope that eventually software and videogame (free or not) companies will understand that even though Mac users do not make up most of the market for computer users (only 20%) they still make up SOME of it. I find it kind of insulting that just because I don't own a PC like most people, it gives companies the right to neglect developing a mac compatible download (that is not .Exe extension)

I feel even more insulted about this blatant lack of support for the mac OS because new macs these days (year 2009-2010) use intel core 2 duo processors or better (intel xeon) in their computers nowadays. Macs are not like they were in the past with PPC (power-PC) based processors. This means that developing Mac versions of PC only games is easier than it has ever been in the past for developers! But, despite advances in technology companies still treat Mac users like they don't exist, pretending that the only computer system in the world is Microsoft Windows.
